What is VestaConnect?
VestaConnect is a smart, touch only communication platform that centers the experience of each user and connects them to family, friends, and caregivers. Using the platform requires no pervious experience with or understanding of technology, nor does it require training, a remote control, a keyboard, a mouse, or any complex applications. VestaConnect is a flexible solution suitable for individuals living independently or in care homes, including people who may be experiencing cognitive challenges.
How does VestaConnect work?
VestConnect requires a touchscreen in the primary user’s living space. Simply by touching the screen, the primary user can access key information, understand their activities, manage tasks, and connected with friends and family without ever worrying about understanding technology, updating apps, or navigating menus. The family, friends, and professional caregivers can use their current computers or mobile devices to access all the features they need and to connect to the primary user.
When will VestaConnect be available?

How much is VestaConnect and where do I get it?
The first 30 days of VestaConnect is free and then it is $29.95 a month, which can be charged to any major credit card. There is no long term commitment. A subscription is required for each person who has a smart screen, who we refer to as a "primary user." There is no cost for connected users . For example, if you purchase a VestaConnect subscription for a parent, you would pay $29.95 a month, but an unlimited number of people could connect with your parent through the platform for free. If you decided to purchase a second screen for your parent - for instance , if your parent wanted a screen in their living room and another screen in their bedroom - there is no additional subscription required or any additional charge. Once you sign up for a subscription for a primary user, you can add an unlimted number of additional screens for that person for free.
Is VestaConnect secure?
We understand the sensitive nature of the personal information that users may store in our platform. We have designed the system to be HIPAA and GDPR compliant, and we are in the process of getting the platform SOC 2 certified. Simply put, we are going to meet or exceed the security standards required of any hospital or health care provider.

What are the system requirements?
Hardware OptionsGiven the advanced nature of the smart screen application, only Android devices with sufficient processing power will run it effectively. We offer several fully supported options of various sizes, which you can view on our hardware page, which also includes links to third party devices that will run the platform effectively if you prefer to support your own hardware.
Is the hardware included in the monthly fee?
Hardware OptionsHardware is not included in the monthly subscription fee. Hardware must be purchased separately either by us or a recommended third party, as the smart screen application does have specific system requirements. Our hardware page provides a number of fully supported options and a couple of recommended third party options for people who prefer to support their own devices.
Can I use equipment that I already have for the smart screen?
Probably not due to the specific requirements of the smart screen application. When it comes to the VestaConnect application for admins, connected users, and staff members, though, pretty much any modern device will work.
How do I get an evaluation version?
We are not currently offering evaluation versions, but we do offer a 30 day refund policy on any hardware that you purchase from us, and use of the VestaConnect service is free for the first month.
